Bookings for workshop days and online lessons made via our website, email, telephone or in person are deemed to have accepted the terms and conditions listed below. Places on training days are provisional until full payment has been received. Upon your booking we will contact you with confirmation and an information pack.
Cancellations and Refunds
1:1 workshops run from 1st April - 31st October each year.
Upon ordering a 1:1 workshop, you have 14 days in which to cancel for a full refund. Please contact J.H. Leather in writing or via email with your name and order number. A refund will then be issued using the same payment method made upon ordering.
Once an order for a 1:1 workshop has been placed, you will need to contact J.H. Leather in order to book your day(s). Booking of the workshop day(s) need to be made within 6 months of the original order date. Any workshop day(s) that are not booked within this time frame will be forfeit, and a new order will need to be placed.
Once workshop dates have been confirmed, you are able to cancel for any reason up to 4 weeks of the scheduled date for a refund, minus a 10% administration fee. A refund will be issued using the same payment method used in the original order. Alternatively, a new date can be booked at no additional cost.
Cancellations received within 4 weeks from the chosen start date are non-refundable, instead an alternative date will be offered.
Workshops can only be rescheduled once. If you are unable to attend this rescheduled date, the workshop is forfeit and no refund will be given.
1:1 workshops ordered as a gift are non-refundable 14 days after the initial order date. If a cancellation is made within this time, a refund will be issued using the original payment method. Booking of the workshop day(s) need to be made within 6 months of the original order date. Any workshop day(s) that are not booked within this time frame will be forfeit, and a new order will need to be placed.
If you are booking a multiple day 1:1 workshop, it can be arranged that the days are spread out and not concurrent. No refund will be given after the first day has been completed, if you need to cancel, are unable to attend or do not book any remaining days. You will have 6 months in which to book the first day of your workshop and all days will need to be completed within the workshop running time for that year. (1st April - 31st October).
If a cancellation is made within 24 hours of the scheduled workshop start date, no refund will be given, but alternative dates will be offered at a 50% discounted rate.
Workshops and online support are for the purpose of leather training only, instances where the student acts inappropriately will end in the termination of the session immediately and no refund will be given.
J.H. Leather retains the right to cancel a workshop day or online lesson for any reason without notice. The student will be offered alternative dates or a full refund. J.H. Leather is not responsible for any costs incurred by students for travel, accommodation, or any other service.
Any refunds will be made via the original payment method.

Workshop days or online lesson are offered on an informal basis and are not certified courses. If you are looking to create your own business in leather craft, we highly recommend that you get appropriate insurance beforehand.
